What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have about your information when you use Puttfolio.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly (such as your email and display name), information generated when you play (rosters, scores, session history), and limited technical data from your device and browser (IP address, browser type, language, referrer).
When you connect an Immutable Passport wallet, the on-chain address and your card holdings become readable on the public blockchain. We associate that address with your Puttfolio account.
2. How we use information
- To run the service: authentication, gameplay, scoring, and rewards.
- To improve Puttfolio: aggregated analytics on feature usage and performance.
- To communicate: tournament reminders, prize notices, and product news (you can opt out of marketing).
- To prevent abuse: detecting fraud, multi-accounting, and rule violations.
3. Sharing
We share data with the service providers that help us run Puttfolio (hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support). Each provider is bound by a contract that limits how they may use that data. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time; doing so may sign you out.
5. Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@puttfolio.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Children
Puttfolio is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. International transfers
We operate globally and your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. When we transfer data internationally, we use safeguards that meet applicable legal requirements.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the "Last updated" date will change. We will notify you of significant changes through the service or by email.
